VISION AND PURPOSE

“I am the vine, you are the branches: If someone lives in me, and I in them, they will bear much fruit: for without me you can do nothing…If someone lives in me, and my word lives in them, they can ask whatever they wish and it will be given to them.” John 15: 5 & 7

Our purpose is to learn God’s will for our lives and to ask him for the power to carry that out. We also want to help others find the same. We will share our stories and our testimony with you from time to time. We will listen to your stories and testimony. We will be witnesses to the loving, faithful God we have come to know in our lives and we pray that you have your own experience with God.

Our vision for this small Christian apparel company recently revealed itself to us. While we were setting up our display at a local trade show, our teenaged daughter decided we should have a t-shirt design with a peace sign on it. She loves peace signs. We showed her the concordance in the back of our bible and she started looking up all the verses about peace. While she was reading, she was trying to fit the verses into the look and feel of the designs that we print on our shirts. “I’ve never had so much fun reading the bible,” she said with a big smile. And it showed up again when my wife was drying our youngest daughter’s hair. She was looking at the Star of David Motor Inn shirt my wife was wearing and said, “I don’t get that one.” My wife pointed out all the elements on the shirt and put it together with the story of the nativity that our daughter already knew. When she was finished telling the story, our daughter replied, “Oh, I get it now!”

Both of those experiences showed us that the designs we put on our shirts were inspiring. THEY HAVE THE POWER TO START CONVERSATIONS. Now there is a pile of design ideas and stories on the desk that continues to grow each day. We may have to start another line of shirts just for our youngest daughter.

Our vision is to share God’s word in a fresh, new way.

The operative part of our vision is TO SHARE. We invite you to share your stories about your successes and your struggles. We invite you to participate. Most of all, we invite you to experience God’s love and his will for your life. And we invite you to share his word with others in your life.
